Since the completion of the [Summit|National Summit on Contractor Safety, October 2006], four research projects have been completed or initiated. These four projects focused on the process of prequalifying contractors; the identification of metrics for monitoring contractor safety; the identification and evaluation of risk identification, risk perception and risk communication tools and methods; and lastly an investigation into the best method to transfer a company's safety culture to their contract workers.
